On the 22nd of April ECF team carried out a thorough monitoring and evaluation exercise at the Federal Housing Estate, Bajabure, for the ongoing Green Adamawa Project (GAP). This self-funded initiative continues to promote sustainable environmental practices and foster meaningful community development across Adamawa State.
The assessment focused on evaluating the progress of tree planting efforts, measuring community participation, and assessing the project’s environmental impact. Our team engaged with residents, reviewed the survival rates of planted seedlings, and gathered feedback to improve and scale future interventions.
As part of our commitment to long-term sustainability, ECF has assigned tree ownership to community members and conducted sensitization sessions on how to properly nurture and care for the trees. These steps ensure deeper involvement and greater responsibility among participants in maintaining a greener environment.
The Green Adamawa Project directly supports the vision of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Executive Governor of Adamawa State, in his mission to build a climate-smart and sustainable state. ECF remains proud to play a vital role in driving this vision forward.
We celebrate the progress made so far and reaffirm our commitment to a greener, healthier, and more resilient Adamawa. ![]()
