Set 183 years before the events of the original film trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim tells the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. A sudden attack by Wulf, a cunning and ruthless Dunlending lord seeking vengeance for his father’s death, forces Helm and his people into a daring last stand at the ancient stronghold of the Hornburg, a mighty fortress that will come to be known as Helm’s Deep. With their situation increasingly desperate, Helm’s daughter Héra must find the will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy bent on their utter destruction.
