I really hope this is full of cluttered imagery, as a Bob Dylan fan and Tim fan in some capacity, I want a solid story about his rise to fame, just like Walk the Line. I do NOT want a montage of Timmy riding his bike through open roads and countryside eating up an hour of this movie.
I want Bob!!
Bob is a true genius in my opinion and was fearless in his career and poetry. If it is going to be a platform for Timmy’s daring or a reverse love story, it will just be another forgettable movie that most serious viewers will turn off after 20-30 minutes. This is not a glam piece to go on vacation to cheat a few bucks.
I would love to see what Bob himself has to say about it
As you can see, I am eager to see it, but I am skeptical about this day and age of movies about subjects and people we can love. I saw him play two years ago in Charleston SC and he was amazing and still doing it like he wanted to do it. New material and the songs he played that were mainstream, he did them freestyle and very different from their original release.
Uncompromising is the word and for this movie to use Dylan as a portal to make $ would compromise Dylan’s legacy IMo
