We are proud to announce that our founder has successfully completed the Professional Development Program for Gender Trainers at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam, in collaboration with UN Women.
This six-month intensive program, made possible through a scholarship from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Washington D.C., has further strengthened her expertise in gender-responsive programming and training methodologies.

The course convened renowned gender experts and development practitioners from around the world, providing an exceptional platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and skills enhancement. The experience has brought about a significant paradigm shift in gender training approaches, reinforcing our organisation’s commitment to inclusive and transformative development work.
During the programme, our Executive Director had the privilege of meeting Mr. Henri van Eeghen, CEO of KIT Royal Tropical Institute — a historic 100-year-old institution that also houses the World Museum in Amsterdam.
This accomplishment not only marks a personal milestone for our Executive Director but also positions our organisation to deliver even greater impact in advancing gender equity and empowerment in our programs and partnerships.
