Who We Are
Environmental Care Foundation (ECF) is a non-governmental organisation based in Jimeta-Yola. We work alongside communities, schools, traders and local partners to restore green spaces, manage waste, protect water and build environmental knowledge.
ECF has been initiating, promoting and supporting projects that improve livelihoods, access to quality education, peace building, food security and environmental sustainability. We work throughout the North East, most visibly in Adamawa State.
Every project starts by listening to the people it serves, because lasting change belongs to the community that owns it.

Our Team
We work to bring smiles, hope, and a brighter future to those in need.
ECF is driving sustainable agricultural practices right in the heart of rural communities. By introducing climate-smart farming techniques, they are boosting food security, preserving soil health, and equipping local farmers to thrive despite changing weather patterns.
ECF is turning climate science into action on the ground. Their tree planting across Yola is restoring green cover, protecting communities from rising heat, and proving that local people can lead real environmental change in Adamawa.
I have seen ECF inspire young people to care for their environment. Through school programmes and community education, they are raising a generation that understands why nature matters and knows how to protect it.
From waste management to clean water and community health, ECF links environmental care to everyday wellbeing. Their work shows that a cleaner environment means healthier families and stronger livelihoods for everyone.
Good data makes good projects. ECF's focus on planting where it matters most, and on measuring what grows, gives their afforestation work the accuracy and accountability that lasting environmental impact needs.
